Community Involvement
Through various charity events, Macdonald Realty supports Kids Up Front. Kids Up Front provides access to arts, culture, sports and recreation for kids who otherwise would not have the opportunity by redistributing unused event tickets and by creating special events to help heal, bond and unite. Across Greater Vancouver, Kids Up Front has provided over 152,000 amazing experiences for kids.
The staff of Macdonald Realty Ltd.'s three Vancouver offices donated $13,938 to the BC Cancer Foundation on March 10, 2008, to support the BC Cancer Agency’s research into palliative care and pain and symptom management, at the Agency's Vancouver Centre. In an ongoing way, Macdonald Realty also supports BC Cancer through our annual company golf tournament.
Lead by CEO Lynn Hsu, staff and associates of Macdonald Realty helped raise over $22,000 for the Arthritis Society and The Arthritis Research Centre of Canada, two volunteer-based and not-for-profit organizations committed to research, care, education and advocacy for people with arthritis.
Macdonald Realty recently became a supporter of the Minerva Foundation for BC Women’s Education. The Minerva Foundation offers students facing financial obstacles the opportunity to enhance their education. They create opportunities and offer programs through trusted partnerships in the areas of education, leadership development, economic security and safety.
