Chris Shields

Chris has been a REALTOR® with the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board since 2005. He is passionate about helping people buy and sell their homes and ensuring that their transactions are simple, easy and rewarding. His client base extends throughout the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver area. Chris and his team have celebrated 7 years of Medallion Club Awards. Giving back to the Real Estate industry is extremely important to Chris. He has served on the FVREB Education Committee and teaches the New Member Orientation sessions. In 2015, Chris was part of a team of Instructors who facilitated the Paragon® training for Lower Mainland REALTORS®. Chris is proud to have served as a Director for the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board for a two year term. Always eager to mentor ‘up and coming’ REALTORS® and to help his peers at any opportunity, Chris believes strongly in the sharing of knowledge and best practices. Being community minded, he and his team actively participate in local charitable events, fundraisers and causes. For five years, he and his team have fundraised for the BC Cancer Foundation by participating in the annual Vancouver Underwear Affair raising thousands of dollars and awareness to the cause. They have sponsored community sports teams and sporting events and have also volunteered their time to other causes such as the Surrey Food Bank. Outside of work Chris is an avid SCUBA diver, who loves to explore the oceans of the World. Highlights include diving at the Australian Great Barrier Reef, Belize and the turquoise waters of the Turks and Caicos. In the summer, Chris enjoys entertaining friends and clients on his boat out on Lake Whatcom. Benjamin is Chris’ golden retriever and 4-legged Real Estate Partner.
