Macdonald Realty, Western Canada’s largest independent real estate brokerage with over 1,100 agents and $9.7 billion in sales in 2022, has appointed Drew McLean to a new position of Managing Director. In his new role, he will oversee Macdonald Realty best-in-class Managing Broker team and will be responsible for the overall success, including sales and business operations, of the residential division of Macdonald Real Estate Group.
“I look forward to further developing the company’s service offerings, utilizing technology and simplifying access which will benefit the day-to-day activities of our agents,” says McLean. “Our focus is on providing resources that allow our agents to become more efficient and more productive in their business.”
McLean has been licensed for thirty years with a background in both residential and commercial real estate. He has been a Managing Broker with Macdonald Realty in the Fraser Valley for the last 18 years, and most recently was the company’s Eastern Regional Manager leading 6 offices and 275 agents to record sales volumes.

McLean will be part of the senior management team working closely with Cooper, as well as CEO Lynn Hsu and VP of Operations Rosey Hudson. Macdonald Realty Managing Broker Tore Jacobsen has taken on McLean’s previous role as Eastern Regional Manager.
